Peach Cobbler Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (16 ounce) can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
Peach Cobbler Instructions :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Place butter or margarine in an 8X8 glass baking dish. Place dish in oven until butter is melted.
In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar. Mix well, then stir in milk. Spoon mixture into baking dish, on top of melted butter or margarine. Pour peaches over flour mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until peaches are bubbly and crust is lightly browned.

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (21 ounce) can peach pie filling
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place butter or margarine in a 9x13 inch pan and melt in oven while it is preheating.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in milk.
Remove pan of melted butter or margarine from oven. Pour mixture into pan, but DO NOT STIR. Spread pie filling onto batter, without stirring.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until fruit is bubbly and batter is set and golden brown.

Peach Cobbler Ingredients:

* 1 stick (4 ounces) butter, melted
* 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, divided
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 3 to 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, thinly sliced
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Peach Cobbler INSTRUCTIONS:
First of all heat oven to 375°.
And then pour melted butter into a 2-quart baking dish (11x7 or 8-inch square). Next in a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of the sugar, the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir to blend. Stir in the milk and vanilla until blended. Pour the batter over the melted butter. Toss the peaches with the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Arrange the peach slices over the batter. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. The top will be browned and the cake will begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Serve warm with a little heavy cream, whipped topping, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
